Looking Back 50 years

Recently we asked Cube interviewees in Somers, NY to share their memories of the moment they learned of President Kennedy's assassination. These are two of the stories we collected. Thank you to Somers Historical Society and The Mexican Shack for hosting The Cube.

"Get out and walk."

Doris Jane Smith tells us what it was like to give birth shortly after President Kennedy was assassinated.

"President Kennedy had been shot and killed."

Patrick F. DeSena was on the drill field at Fort Dix when he heard that John F. Kennedy had been shot.

Stay tuned for more stories from The Cube.

"Where were you?"
