Last year our dream of collecting stories on location throughout the Hudson Valley became a reality. The Cube, our mobile recording booth assembles in a couple of hours allowing us to travel from town to town collecting stories. For more information read our FAQ. 

The 2014 Cube season runs from May through October. Our schedule is limited, so be sure to book early by emailing us at info@soundandstory.org

The Cube was custom designed and built by Hugo Martinez at  MAT-TER Design + Build Studio.

Initial funding for The Cube was provided by a National Leadership Grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Southeastern NY Library Resources Council.

Book a 2016 Visit Now

We're still booking The Cube for fall 2016 before going into hybernation for the winter, but will awaken in the spring ready to collect some more stories. It is not too early to begin planning and booking a spiring 2017 visit.
