Phil Rosner was born in Vienna. His mother was Austrian. His father was American, a fact that would later save his life. 

Hitler's troops marched into Austria on March 12, 1938.  Phil remembers March 13th as the day that changed his life forever.

Two Girls Escape is a heartbreaking and horrific account of the torturing of the local butcher by two Nazi soldiers. For many years, Phil did not speak about this memory. 1.5 minutes

The Felix Award is named after Phil's underground name Felix. He received the first award in 2007 and it is now given annually in New Paltz, NY. 1 minute
